For the purposes of auditing, Coder maintains records on all user actions on system resources.
Any user who is an Admin or an Auditor can log in to Coder and go to Manage > Audit to see the Audit Logs. By default, this page displays a chronological list of all actions taken on the system.
You can filter the number of logs displayed using the search filters available in the top-right:
- Resource Type: The resource on which the action is taken (e.g., Image, Environment, User)
- Action: The action taken by the user against a resource (e.g., read, write, create)
- Resource Target: The friendly name for the resource (e.g., the user with the email address firstname.lastname@example.org)
- User: The user who performs the action
