Coder allows you to assign different roles to users, and each role comes with a distinct set of privileges with regards to what the user can access and what actions they can perform.
There are four roles available:
|Site Admin||Full access to the system; there can only be one Site Admin per system|
|Site Manager||Allows full access to all administrative functionality in addition to basic usage permissions|
|Auditor||Offers auditing functionality|
|Member||Allows basic usage of the system|
By default, all new users are created with the Member role. Those with administrative privileges can upgrade the user's role to Auditor or Site Manager.
To change a user's role, go to Manage > Users. Find the user whose role you want to change, and use the Site Role drop down to adjust the assigned role.
