Templates are the blueprints for how Coder provisions cloud development environments. Defined as Terraform, templates represent developer use cases across an organization. e.g., Java and JetBrain IntelliJ Ultimate, Go and VS Code, or Python and JupyterLab.
Coder ships with example templates that are part of the Coder OSS repository and also available inside Coder as Starter Templates in the web user interface.
